Build A Django Blog — Part 03

A list of my favorite tools and resources

I would like to share a list of free and very useful resources/tools I use daily to create user interfaces (landing pages, web applications, mobile apps, etc.) and to build my Django blog project. The latest version is deployed to EC2 AWS and you can view it here. The source code is also hosted in GitHub here.

These tools will save you a ton of time and give you inspiration when building such interfaces.

Fontjoy — Easily mix and match different Google Fonts for the perfect pairing.

Type ScalePreview and choose the right type of scale for your project. Experiment with font size, scale, and different web fonts.

Google Fonts — Fast, and open through great typography.

Material Color Tool — Choose a primary and a secondary color and build your palette based on material design specs.

ColorHexa — A free color tool providing information about any color and generating matching color palettes, shades/tints for your designs.

Colorsinspo — Thousands of beautiful color palettes and inspiration you can use in one click.

Bootstrap4 — I use Boostrap 4, it has really good documentation and really good examples.

For my blog, I chose this template and you can find the example source code here.
